Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch Bagatelle is a French word which refers to something small, of little consequence, not very important! The lodge lies on the edge of the Southern Kalahari in the mixed tree and shrub Savanna. The ranch is characterised by huge red sands dunes running parallel, and in a northern-westerly to south-easterly direction. The valleys in between the parallel dunes are commonly known as "streets'. Kalahari Anib Farmhouse Located in the midst of the Kalahari, on the fringes of the village of Stampriet in the fertile valley of the seasonal Auob River, Kalahari Farmhouse combines upmarket hospitality with a rural ambience. The reception and restaurant are housed in a manor, built in the heyday of Karakul farming 50 years ago.
