Villa Oleandra, 'The Charming House' describes itself as a 'chic, self-catering Villa,' and is situated in the artistic and historic town of Omaruru, located 50km north of Karibib and 230km from Windhoek. It is a small, but grand self-catering establishment, beautifully decorated with contemporary art and high quality fittings and furniture. This exquisite Villa is aimed at an up-market clientèle, who are seeking privacy and luxury, as an alternative to the more traditional Namibian lodges or hotels. Although no meals are provided or can be ordered here, the owners and staff will recommended a nearby restaurant or bar.

Villa Oleandra is rented out as a single unit (to one party at a time) and is therefore for your exclusive use for the duration of your stay in Omaruru.

Omaruru is set in the heart of a game-farm area, surrounded by an array of mountains, the most prominent being the Oruwe, located southeast of the town and the Erongo Mountains to the south-west. It has become a modern day settlement for artistic individuals, including chocolatiers and eco friendly gift card makers, (made with recycled paper and shredded elephant dung!) Kristall Kellerei, only 1 of 2 wineries in the country, is also located in Omaruru. There are a number of (coffee) shops and antique stores within walking distance worth a visit.ff.
Omaruru Game Lodge is situated in the middle of Namibia's green heart around 15 km away from Omaruru. The unique woodlands protect the lodge from the heat of the African sun. Because Omaruru is located in the centre it is very easy to reach famous locations and sight-seeing tours within 2-3 hours of driving or within a range of 150 km.

The lodge has been constructed in an architecturally sophisticated way. All the buildings, restaurants, bungalows (30 beds) reception and information desk are built according to African huts. The material used are natural stones, grass roofs surrounded by a huge garden. The bungalows and restaurants are located next to the water. Our guests can observe the African wildlife directly from the big windows or right from the veranda. Our rooms are comfortably furnished with a bath room (shower/WC) and air-conditioning.
