Hotel Eberwein is housed in the "Villa Wille", which was built in 1909 by Hermann Wille, an architect and building engineer. Although the villa was converted into a first class hotel in 1999, the exterior structure of the building has remained untouched.

The rooms are furnished in the Victorian style. Even the stucco ceilings, windows and doors of the original structure have been preserved. Altogether, there are 16 double-bed rooms and one single-bed room, each of which are individually designed and come either with a bath or shower cabin. All rooms are also equipped with a television, telephone, mini bar and hairdryer to allow guests to enjoy their stay in maximum comfort. The under-floor heating will ensure that the rooms remain cozy and warm on cold Swakopmund days.

The Alternative Space B&B was established during colonial times, as the first and only alternative art gallery, in which anti-colonial and anti-apartheid artists could exhibit fine art and photography. Providing a place to sleep to interested people was a natural progression in the life of the gallery.

With its extensive collection of Namibian art and photography, liberally exhibited in all the rooms, white washed walls, beautiful gardens with green lawns, palm trees, banana and olive trees, the Alternative Space atmosphere is conducive of friendship, sensuality and romance. Excellent evenings are often spent round the open fire in the cave-like communal lounge. The Villa Margherita is an antique Colonial villa, set in the heart of Swakopmund. It is over 100yrs old, and was originally known as the historical building of Dr. Schwietering Haus. At the end of March 2008, after a year's intensive renovation and upgrading, it opened it's doors to the public as a restaurant and guest house. The new owners, Claudine and Amelio, have created a 'guest house of their dreams,' whilst maintaining the original structure and unique charm of the old house.

In building such a place, a more relaxing, spacious and private environment was favoured. This concept enables their guests to receive a more personal and dedicated service from the Villa Margherita's staff.

There are 7 double rooms and the largest suite can be converted into a family unit, with two bedrooms and a lounge area. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, a private lounge area, flat screen TV, safe, hairdryer and wireless Internet connection. (An Internet point is available in the lounge bar). One bedroom offers two single beds whilst all the other rooms have either king or queen size beds. An extra touch is the fruit basket, cookies or Amarula glasses, placed in each room on a daily basis.

Breakfast is individually served, and guests can even order smoked salmon if they wish. Their Italian restaurant, 'Il Tulipano' is 'delighted to offer guests an exquisite, gastronomical experience.' The in-house restaurant serves a wide variety of Namibian ingredients, in an Italian way of cooking. It offers a fixed menu with regular new dishes, including freshly made pasta dishes, meat, seafood, as well as a mouthwatering assortment of desserts.

The restaurant also has a home bar, which serves a selection of beers, spirits and wines, a perfect setting to relax and unwind after a long day.

There is secure parking and a laundry services here. German, French, Italian and English are all spoken at the Villa.

There are 30 rooms in total. All single/twin/double rooms are en-suite with television. Some of the rooms can be changed to accommodate parents with children at an extra cost, depending on number of children. All lodge's spacious comfortable furnished double & family rooms have en suite bathrooms, are equipped with 7 channel television and direct dialing telephones. Lodge's dorm rooms can sleep 4, 6 or 8. Most of them have private bathrooms, apart from 3. The 3 without have their bathrooms facing the rooms.

The Stiltz is unique in every aspect. It offers the most spectacular views in Swakopmund overlooking either the Atlantic Ocean, the river-bed or the sand dunes and the bird rich lagoon at the river mouth.
